Chicago Wedding Photography: Joy & Nick

When Joy and Nick chose me to be their Chicago Wedding Photographer last fall,  I instantly fell in love with them. Their love and connection made our Chicago Engagement Photo Session a breeze.

They even included their beautiful daughters. Although an Engagement Photography Sessions mainly focuses on the couple, the girls are an important part of their love story and we couldn't leave them out.

Joy and Nick's beautiful outdoor ceremony tugged at everyones heart strings. From the beautiful setting to the emotional groom as he saw his wife walk down the isle, this wedding could not have been anymore perfect.

One of my favorite touches was having their two beautiful daughters as Junior Brides. It was the perfect way to compliment the proposal picture we took during their Engagement Photo Session of Nick proposing to all three of them. Just adorable!

Joy has to be one of my favorite brides ever! Not only because she is absolutely stunning, but because her name absolutely captures her personality. Working with Joy felt like I was working with one of my closest friends. And having that kind of rapport with my brides is my goal. This means she will be more comfortable and trusts me, which always results in amazing photos. And Joy and Nick's photos definitely reflect that.

I asked them each how did they knew each other was the one and this is what they had to say:

'I knew Nick was the one pretty early on because he was consistent. He called every night, he did what he said he would, and he put forth so much effort to build my trust.' - Joy
'I knew Joy was the one because she is family oriented and very loving. She works hard to make sure her family is happy no matter what.' - Nick

Nick and Joy are such an awesome couple. I pray that God remains in the center and that they have a lifetime of happiness and joy. Congratulations you two!
