It is now officially summer and we are dead smack in the middle of wedding season! A wedding photographers favorite (and most tired 😫) time of year. So what more appropriate time than now to share this amazing wedding inspired styled shoot I worked on a couple months ago (yes I am behind on blogging but what else is new 🤷🏾♀️🤣).
Let me start off by first saying I am a blessed photographer because again I got to work with some amazing vendors. Everything turned out A M A Z I N G! The theme of the styled shoot is Eternally Emerald. The Vintage to Modern Designs team came up with the theme that was inspired by the emerald stone that is known for infinite patience, embodying unity, compassion, and unconditional love. The goal of the shoot was to marry the timeless touch of emerald to the unique vision of today's couples. The powerful emerald color was accompanied with beautiful touches of gold, lush neutrals, and a hint of pink. The Styled shoot was shot at Sequoia Restaurant in Georgetown. Sequoia sits right on the Potomac River and is newly renovated. So if you haven't been to see the new space or check out their new menu I highly recommend it!
Everyone played an instrumental part in making this styled shoot come to life. From our talented glam squad (hair and make up) to the super creative cake artist and florist. Oh and our sweet models, The Capital Couple. They are well know D.C. bloggers who keep us up to date on all the fun things to do in Washington D.C. They are also such an adorable and fun pair to work with. I honestly could not have asked for a better team (each vendor is listed below with their websites info). So excited to share the amazing images from this shoot and I can not wait to work with this team again hopefully in the near future!
