It’s a brand new week and I am pumped to share a brand new session on the blog with you guys to day. I’m excited not only because I have been more consistent then ever keeping up with blogging everything but also because Sydney and Larry’s engagement session was BOMB! 💣 And I’m not just saying that because I love all my couples. Guys these two came ready and DRESSED!!!
If you’ve been rocking with me over the years you know I am fairly new to D.C. Not geographically, because I actually lived there for 4 years in college, but I’m new to shooting weddings there. Which means I’m also learning all the cool places for engagement photos as well. So when we were planning Sydney and Larry’s engagement session I casually mentioned a few places I had been dying to shoot at and let them decide which one. I was so happy when Sydney picked the Haupt Gardens. That was the one I really wanted too! It’s such a unique green location that is unexpectedly right in the middle of the national mall. But I think the reason we both picked the Haupt Gardens is the really cool circular structures they have there called the ‘Moon Gates’. I thought it would add something unique to their session. Little did I know that Larry and Sydney would be adding a little someone unique to the session themselves. 🐶 Scroll down to see what I mean! 👀
Sydney and Larry,
You guys were so much fun and so awesome to photograph. And I really enjoyed meeting Sega. Y’all came looking FLY, relaxed and your brought a puppy! 😩😍 what more can a photographer ask for? Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. And I absolutely loved how your photos came out! If this is any indication of how your wedding in May will be, I know it’s going to be LIT! 🔥
