Ashley and Calvin were such a sweet couple. They were engaged and expecting their first son. When I met them I fell in love with their chemistry and their excitement about the new addition. Maternity will forever be one of my favorite things to photograph because of the joy parents have. Its so easy for me to deliver awesome photos when a couple's excitement and joy is seeping from their pores. 

As you all know, I love outdoor photography. I believe nature is the best backdrop. So when these clients asked for help deciding where to take their Chicago maternity photos, I knew Lake Katherine would give us the perfect simplistic yet beautiful backdrop that  we needed. I love the way their photos came out. I hope I get to work with them again soon.
