Chicago Wedding Photographer | Fall-ing in Love Styled Shoot

Chicago Wedding Photographer

Happy Wednesday guys! I know Chicago is basically the North Pole right now so I thought this would be a great time to share photos from a warmer more colorful time. The ‘Fall-ing in Love Styled Shoot’ is the perfect fix for our winter blues. Let’s all look at these photos and remember that if you can survive all 5 months of winter, Chicago can be such amazing place. 😂

This is my 3rd Styled Shoots and I can honestly say that each one is better and easier than the last. And that is due to the fact that each time I work with the most amazing vendors. First let me rave about how dope our models Ti Nicole and Joel were. I know the photos look all warm and cozy but it was actually freezing the day of the shoot. But these two did not complain one bit (although there were a few shivers 😂). We managed to make it to 3 different locations before the sun clocked out on us. And I could not be happier with the photos!

The goal of this styled shoot was to capture the bridal elements on a smaller scale (meaning no ceremony or reception set up) but in different spots around the beautiful Windy City. We decided to included just the essentails every bride and groom need on their wedding day whether they are having a huge event or just a small elopement. Those essentials are a custom bridal gown, a unique tux, bomb make up, and a bouquet that POPS. The purpose of this styled shoot was to broaden our portfolios with some fresh, fun, colorful images. And each vendor played and instrumental role in the success of the shoot. So let me tell you a little about each one!

Joel’s Tux is from my favorite Tuxedo company in the Chicagoland area, Formally Modern Tuxedo. They have such a variety of styles and fits. I really love how perfectly this maroon tux fit with the fall colors.

Ti Nicole let’s get to the brides show stopping dress. It was designed by the amazing T Michelle Couture Designs. Not only is this a custom gown but it was LITERALLY designed and sewn together in less than 1 week. She is a BEAST. Like I have never seen it this kind of skill level in a designer before.

Ti’s make up was done by Angel who is not only a phenomenal make up artist but she also has her own make up line called Cold Summer Cosmetics. I have worked with her on another styled shoot so she also had a hand in helping me organize this one. Such a huge help with how packed my schedule was during this week. Thanks again Angel!

Last but not least the bouquet was made by no other than Felisha Orchid or Felisha Orchid events. Not only is she a creative genius when it comes to bridal bouquets and all things related to events, she is also my MOM! My family is full of creativity so make sure you go check her out!

As you can see we KILLED this shoot! I am so proud of these photos! And let me just ad that I love working with BOSS women! It’s something really motivating about seeing other women at the top of their game. And I can’t wait to work with each of you again soon!
