Chicago Photographer | Jessica & Demetric Winter Engagement

Happy Thursday guys! We are now in the thick of winter. ❄️ Thats why it is the perfect time to share these snowy engagement photos. If you know anything about me as a photographer then you should know that I’m always down for a photo session no matter what season it is. And I have been DYING to do snowy photos for years. But trying to find the perfect snowy day and people who are willing to brave the cold has been a challenge. But I am a firm believer in speaking things into existence so I just kept putting it out there in the universe. It took awhile to make it happen but last year on the perfect snowy day THIS happened! 😍

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to see couples interact. And Jessica and Demetric are the cutest couple. Their entire session was full of sweet embraces and adorable giggles. I have actually known Jessica since high school. She was a few years younger than me so we didn’t know each other well. But we have been friends on Facebook and I got a chance to see her go from girlfriend to fiancé. 💍 Not to sound stalkerish or anything 👀🤣 but they were definitely on my list of couples I wanted to photograph on social media. I don’t think I’m the only photographer who has one of those so don’t judge me guys! 😩🙃😅

We probably picked the perfect day to take photos because despite there being snow it wasn’t extremely cold. Honestly it was still cold but still pretty mild for a winter day in Chicago. But even so these two did not complain once. This turned out to be the perfect winter session. I am so happy I got to work with these two. I had so much fun. And I pray for many blessings over their marriage.
