Chicago Maternity Photographer | Darker's Maternity

I'm a little behind on my blogging guys. So bare with me. 🤷🏾‍♀️ But no matter how late I am these photos are DEFINITELY blog worthy! Back in September Roxanne reached out to me about doing Maternity Photos. And I love love LOVE maternity so I was immediately excited. This session was a little different for me because it was one of my first sessions in Chicago after moving to my new home in Delaware. But Roxanne was super sweet and understanding and we found the perfect date and time.

Picking a location is one of the top 2 most important things (right behind what you decide to  wear). So I always encourage my clients to choose a place that is the style they wish to have in their home hanging on the wall. Let me tell you guys that Roxanne DID 👏🏾 NOT 👏🏾 DISAPPOINT! 👏🏾  She chose the Kimpton Alegro Hotel in downtown Chicago. I had never even been there, so I reached for my trusty friend google. Let me tell you guys that my heart stopped when I saw how gorgeous this place is. Definitely one of my top 5 locations of all times! 

Lets fast-forward to the day of the session. When I walked into this hotel it was even more beautiful than in the pictures. This hotel is AMAZING! Then I meet my couple for the first time. Once again this couple DID 👏🏾 NOT 👏🏾 DISAPPOINT! 👏🏾 They are so cute and they dressed the part. Roxanne is literally #MaternityGoals for me. So please no one be surprised if I steal this idea when it's my turn. 🤫😂 The session went perfectly. I had so much fun photographing them and the hotel staff was so nice and accommodating. I can't wait to do another session there someday soon. To the Darker's I want to say thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your growing family. Also congratulations on your new baby boy! I wish you happiness and blessings. And I hope I get to photography you all again soon!
