I say re-introduce because this is their 2nd maternity session that I have shot for them. And they BRING it everytime! The National Arboretum is a very large outdoor nature museum that has The National Capitol Columns inside, which is one D.C.’s well known monuments. This was my first time visiting the Arboretum and one thing I did not realize was how large so it is. It is miles and miles of nature. So it was a little challenging to find where on the grounds the actual monument is. Luckily for me Cherise and her Mom met up with me and directed me to the exact right spot. Honestly if it weren’t for them I would probably still be turned around trying to find the monument. 😂Although the views were stunning, I have to say my favorite part was getting Cherise in front of my lens and having her awesome mom there as a helper. These two are so fun and sweet. It was like photographing a friend I’ve known for years.

Happy first day of spring guys! 🌸As great as that feels to say it doesn’t actually feel like spring just yet. And as much as I want to break out the sundress and sandals I know I have to give it another month or so for mother nature to get the memo! But just because it’s a little to soon to get those perfect spring portraits that doesn’t mean we can’t plan ahead and be ready for them.
