Chicago Maternity Photography | Marcy & Carl

I am so excited to finally be able to share Marcy and Carls Maternity session with you today. This is definitely one of my favorite Maternity Sessions of all times! Not just because I love Marcy dearly and her family is just to cute for words. But also because she is always down to try something new! That's the joy of photographing a fellow photographer. They will do anything to get a good shot. And Waterfall Glenn proved to be the PERFECT location for this adventurous Mommy and Daddy.

Now some of you may remember Marcy and Carl from the Gender Reveal we did a couple months ago (click the link if you want to see it). But even after such a special Gender Reveal, we still wanted to do something special to celebrate Baby Charlie Sunshines entrance into the world. She won't be an ordinary child so we couldn't just take ordinary Maternity Photos. So when Marcy told me she wanted to go somewhere with water and actually get in it, I was ecstatic! And as you can tell from the photos, so was Marcy! I have never seen a mom more happy and in her element as Marcy was as soon as she got in the water. I told her a water birth might suit her well (lol).

It has been such a joy witnessing you throughout this pregnancy journey. I am so happy you choose me to be apart of it. I wish you, Carl, Avery, and Baby Charlie nothing but blessings! And I can not wait to meet her! I know she will be a little ray of Sunshine just like her MOMMY!
