The National Arboretum is a very large outdoor nature museum that has The National Capitol Columns inside, which is one D.C.’s well known monuments. This was my first time visiting the Arboretum and one thing I did not realize was how large so it is. It is miles and miles of nature. So it was a little challenging to find where on the grounds the actual monument is. Luckily for me Cherise and her Mom met up with me and directed me to the exact right spot. Honestly if it weren’t for them I would probably still be turned around trying to find the monument. 😂Although the views were stunning, I have to say my favorite part was getting Cherise in front of my lens and having her awesome mom there as a helper. These two are so fun and sweet. It was like photographing a friend I’ve known for years.
