It’s a brand new week and what better time to share another GORGEOUS downtown Philadelphia wedding. 😍 This is my first year photographing weddings in Philadelphia and I must say I am loving it. Philadelphia really is a city like no other. It is filled with so much charm and character. And I love when my couples embrace their hometown and opt to incorporate a little bit of their home in their wedding day.

On June 28th, 2019, Duane and Michael tied the knot at the Le Meridièn hotel. One thing that I absolutely loved about the date was that they choose it intentionally to honor Duane’s parents. It would have been their 50th wedding anniversary. Such an amazing way to keep their memory alive. As you can see it was a really romantic and classy affair, which was to be expected after meeting Duane. Not only is she sophisticated and classy herself but I could tell how much marrying Michael meant to her. She had the man of her dreams so she was planning a wedding to match. From the moment I met her I could tell she knew what she wanted, she was super organized and very detail oriented. (FYI that is honestly the kind of bride that photographers dream of!) During our bridal consultation she had a list of questions to ask each vendor. And their was an entire section specifically for her wedding photographer. 😆I was impressed because she asked more questions than I even asked my own wedding photographer. 😂

Even though this wedding was beautifully decorated (and stress free might I add) that was just a small part that made this wedding so awesome. What was most amazing was really how much love was displayed throughout the entire day. Honestly they are literally the sweetest couple. I had to hold back tears a few times during their wedding day. But the love wasn’t just between Duane and Michael. It was also from every single person I encountered. The bridal party, their kids, their families and even their guests. Everyone was just so happy for these two! All in all guys, I don’t know how this wedding could have been more perfect. I am so grateful to have been apart of such an amazing day. These two are definitely going in my wedding hall of fame! And I am SOOOOO happy for these two! I wish them many years of happiness and blessings.
