Happy Friday-eve guys! Now the usual format for my blog post is to start out by picking one favorite moment from the couples wedding day and sharing it in an impactful way to draw in your attention and make you want to keep reading (I guess I just gave away the magic 😂). But to try and pick just one moment from Tiana and Naeem’s wedding day is nearly impossible. It truly was such an awesome day that I don’t have one singular moment to share. But one thing that seemed to be the common thread throughout the entire day is the way every single person spoke of these two, both individually and as a unit. The funny stories and the emotional speeches from their loved ones all pointed back to the fact that everyone who knows them knew they were meant to be, maybe even before they even knew. During their toast, Tiana’s brothers shared that even their late father had given his stamp of approval on their union. I’m no expert on love but one thing that I do know is that a love story that is ordained by God, impacts and inspires people, especially those in close proximity. And I can without a doubt say that their love story does just that.

College sweethearts, Tiana & Naeem got married at Bradford Estates Hainesport in New Jersey on February 7th, 2020. This Lincoln University love story was my very first wedding of the entire decade and they did 👏🏾 not 👏🏾 disappoint! 👏🏾 From the gorgeous venue and decor to the well executed timeline, this wedding was DOPE! In case you didn’t know deciding to have a winter wedding can sometimes be pretty challenging. We are fighting against two powers of nature, the cold temp and early sunset. But when we plan properly we can make the middle of February just as beautiful as any summer day. Of coarse it helps if you are like Tiana and Naeem and are down to do pretty much anything to get the shot 📸 (including enduring the cold 🥶🤣).

The day started in Bradford Estates gorgeous Bride and Groom suites, which have the best dreamy window light any photographer could ever ask for! We then proceeded to go outside for the sweetest first look. The excitement on their faces when they saw each other for the first time was priceless. Their ceremony was filled with both teary eyes and laughter from everyone in the room as the two exchanged their vows. I am proud to say that I kept it together and did not cry, although Tiana’s vows in the form of a poem almost took me out. 😩😭 After everyone dried their tears, they helped them party the night away on the dance floor. And as you can see the turn up was real!

First of all I love y’all! Seriously you two are my people and the epitome of my dream bride and groom. Not only were you guys a joy to photograph, you guys have kept me laughing and smiling since the day we met. It’s like the 3 of us were a match made in heaven lol. But seriously you two are exactly what comes to mind when I think of #BlackLove. Seeing how kind, happy, silly, and most of all loving you are to each other is so refreshing and inspiring. Your love for one another is so and everyone else can’t help but adore it. Guys I am so happy you allowed me to be apart of such an amazing chapter in your love story. It has truly been an honor. And I pray that God blesses with a lifetime of laughter and love.
