Intimate La Banque Chicago Wedding

If I had to pick 2 words to describe Crystal & Spenser’s wedding day I would have to choose, teary eyed and joyful (and yes I realize ‘teary eyed' is technically not one word but humor me people lol). Watching them recited their vows to one another was the most memorable part of the day for me. ❤️ It was the way they looked at each other with tears in their eyes, as they told each other how much they loved each other and how much this moment meant to each of them. It was such a heartfelt moment that even a few bridesmaid’s and their moms were wiping away tears. 😭 But I can’t just say the day was teary eyed because that would not tell the whole story. Tears can mean so many things. But when you pair it with joyful it gives a more complete picture of how the day actually went. Everyone exuded joy all day. From getting dressed with her my to the super sweet first look all the way to the cake cutting. Even their friends and family perfectly described this word. Every person I encountered was so full of happiness and excitement for these two. I loved witnessing their loved ones share in such a special moment as they started the next chapter in their love story.

Crystal and Spenser tied the knot on February 22nd, 2020 at La Banque Hotel in Homewood, IL. La Banque hotel is such a cool venue because it used to be a bank that they converted into a modernly, styled hotel. But the coolest part is inside the hotel restaurant they kept the original bank safe. It was a small intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family in the lobby of the hotel followed by a Hors d’oeuvres/cocktail reception. One thing that I absolutely loved was their wedding theme, which was ‘Nothing fancy, just love!’ 🥰 It was so fitting. Even though they had all the things (pretty details and really pretty venue). And even the bridal party and their families were elegantly dressed but that wasn’t the focus of this day. The focus was the love and new covenant between Crystal and Spenser. I would rather focus my camera on a beautiful love story like theirs over a super fancy wedding any day of the week. ❤️

Crystal and Spenser,

You two have been such a joy to work with. I knew from the time we spent talking during the consultation that we would be a great match. And your beautiful wedding day proved that to be true! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of such an important moment in your love story. But I honestly hope it doesn’t end here. I would love to be apart of the big moments in the future. I also pray that God blesses your union with a lifetime of peace, joy, laughter, and prosperity. But most of all an abundance of love! ❤️
