Wilmington Engagement Photographer | Miranda & Jared's Fall Engagement

Miranda and Jared’s engagement session was a major milestone for me. They were my very first engagement session when I moved to the East Coast. And their photos came out sooooooo gorgeous! 😍 Completely changing my location after shooting in Chicago for 5 years has definitely been a challenge but they were definitely a good start!

When I first got to Delaware I was determined to hit the ground running. Fall was already here which is basically heaven for outdoor photographers. 😇 I naturally gravitate towards parks and forest preserves with lots of greenery and trees anyway but the fall colors make almost any little patch of nature gorgeous. And luckily Delaware is full nature. I took the advice of some native Delawarians (I’m pretty sure I just made that word up 😂) and choose Brecknock Park for this engagement session. Brecknock has quickly become one of my favorite locations in Dover. From the walking trail to the little hidden stream, Brecknock is perfect for basically any kind of shoot.

Miranda and Jared are a super sweet couple. I found them through a facebook group for military spouses here in Dover. Jared and my husband work for the same Airforce base. One thing I loved is that these two were as excited about the shoot as I was. There are just some couples make my job super easy and these two are definitely one of those couples. They were all laughs and sweet embraces. They even told me a little bit about their wedding plans. As you can see my first engagement session in Delaware was a success! I can’t wait to do many many more!
