Wilmington Family Photographer | Fleming Family Photos

Happy Tuesday guys! I have decided that Tuesdays are for blogging (or at least thats what I aiming for 🙃). And today I am super excited to share this family session with you guys. I adore all the families I work with but there are just some who I love even when I put my camera away. That would definitely describe the Fleming family. My husband and I met Myk, Serenity, and baby Michael at church. They are the very first friends we made when we moved and they are some of the sweetest people you would ever meet. And baby Michael is my little homie. The cutest, smartest little one year old ever! I seriously adore this kid. 😍

I absolutely love when I get the chance to photograph friends and family because it’s less about creating a connection or making them comfortable. We can just be ourselves and act like we are just hanging out on a normal day. And that is exactly what we did. We decided to go to Brecknock park, a nearby forest preserve, for their session. It is such a pretty location with all the trees creating the perfect shaded area along a walking path through the forest. It’s basically an outdoor photographers dream!

The best part of the session was hands down baby Michael. He is just the cutest little human! He literally steals everyones heart he comes in contact with, especially his mommy and daddy. For an entire hour there was not one tear drop or tantrum. He was just full of smiles and giggles. They spent the entire session just loving on each other and letting Michael run and play. Oh and I even snuck in a few photos of just Mommy and Daddy together. 😍 I am so happy to have had the opportunity to photograph their first family session together. And as photogenic as this sweet family is, we have to do this again sometimes soon!
