Happy first day of spring guys! 🌸As great as that feels to say it doesn’t actually feel like spring just yet. And as much as I want to break out the sundress and sandals I know I have to give it another month or so for mother nature to get the memo! But just because it’s a little to soon to get those perfect spring portraits that doesn’t mean we can’t plan ahead and be ready for them.

Everyone played an instrumental part in making this styled shoot come to life. From our talented glam squad (hair and make up) to the super creative cake artist and florist. Oh and our sweet models, The Capital Couple. They are well know D.C. bloggers who keep us up to date on all the fun things to do in Washington D.C.

While I was there I fell in love with Cherry Blossoms trees. Nothing is a more beautiful start to spring than the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms surrounding the tidal basin.
